My wonderful day started at 6:45am like my "normal" school days. I went to breakfast in the Caf where I was sung "Happy Birthday" to twice! (I love eating breakfast with this group of friends!) :-)
Then I went to Understand Old Testament class, followed by Journalism & Culture class which was followed by chapel. By then it was 11am and I headed to the radio studio to record the afternoon news. Ran into a slight challenge and didn't get out of the studio until 12:30ish... *sigh*...
After the news, I went over to the Campus Post Office (CPO) on my birthday afternoon and found 3 package slips in my box! Yippee! One held a party and gifts from my family! The second held laundry detergent! And the third - gifts from friends! There were cards, produce from Oregon and blueberry buckle (coffee cake)!
It was a very good day! I feel very blessed! Thank you all! Thank you God! :-)
After all that, I pulled myself together enough to do some of the assignments needed to be done... Its hard when you just want to chill-ax because it is your birthday... Oh well...
Later, at the GCWC (Glide-Crawford Walking Club which meets M/W/F), I got to lead my birthday walk. So much fun!
Then more school assignments...
After dinner, Paul Daily was giving a demonstration of his style of natural horsemanship at the barn. I went with a couple of friends and watched his presentation. I liked some things, and am not sure I quite agree with everything... I'm glad I went. It was interesting to see it!
When the demonstration was over, I then headed over to WGM (world gospel mission) center with a friend from TAG where our TAG group was practicing the skit we will perform on friday in competition against the other TAG groups...
When I got there, I was sung to again! Thank you Brittni! lol!
After practicing the really cool skit, I went home to my dorm where at 11pm I laid down my head totally exhausted... It was a good - no TERRIFIC day!
I am glad you had a good birthday! what do you do at the radio station?? it looks like you are involved in alot of great opportunities! praise God!
